Diane Shaffer: Good and central. I like the “false Creek” bioswale, good landscaping touch and very shady on a hot day.

Diane Shaffer: Not a place to go for anything specific but whatever you walk out with won’t cost you your arm, leg and the soul of your firstborn. Good organic grocery source!

Diane Shaffer: Awesome, beautiful neighbourhood! And they’re putting a new bike lane in!

Diane Shaffer: They have rocking chairs at the Alaska Airlines gate!

Diane Shaffer: I tripped and fell in the concourse (not their fault, just tired). Eight people immediately came over to check if I was okay :)

Diane Shaffer: Beautiful venue, almost effortless to get to your seat. Don’t bring tablets though.

Diane Shaffer: The carvery beef tends to be tough. Stick with the brats and turkey. They have dressing for fruit — I had Thai Tea and Watermelon-Strawberry-Lime. Great, friendly service, too!

Diane Shaffer: Go with a group of friends and have a blast!

Diane Shaffer: Lots and lots to do. Pace yourself.

Diane Shaffer: A highlight of my trip! The basalt rock waterfall fountain is WONDERFUL.

Diane Shaffer: Services and food around here are excellent. Klein’s makes fresh sandwiches, hot and cold!
