Keith PittMarch 10, 2015Amazing on the inside. If you're an atheist and don't want to be giving cash to the religion, the entrance fee goes to maintaining it as a historical site. The guided tours are fun and are worth it.

Great views from the top of the tower (up 280+ steps) although it's an extra £5 on the standard admission price.- One of the most beautiful gothic cathedrals in the world. The best way to appreciate it is to come to Mass or Choral Evensong - just ask the guides for times.

Police MemorialOctober 16, 2012The Police Roll of Honour Trust Board of Trustees were here for National Police Memorial Day 2012. The Minster is incredible and an amazing setting for our national tribute to our fallen.

For the best views over York, climb the Minster Tower. Costs a few pounds - and you need to be in shape for the climb - but well worth it.
