Perfect Grilled Cheese | Cheesie Appetizers | Homemade Soups | Handcrafted Beers Cheesie's Pub & Grub - Cheesie's Pub & Grub opened it's first establishment in May of 2011 created and founded by local chicagoian Chris Johnston. While walking around wrigleyville one day with good friend Elaine Osgood craving a grilled cheese we realized we could not think of a good place to get one. The light bulb turned on and wheels started spinning we began to wonder... is there a place to get grilled a good grilled cheese in Chicago??? Without hesitation Chris decided "Well if there is not one around then there is going to be one!" The very next day a 12 sandwich menu was written, 3 short weeks later he parted ways with his full time job and Just a few short month's later with the help of a few friends and a lot of luck rolling our way we have the birth of Cheesie's! Located at the southern tip of Chicago's Wrigleyville neighborhood.
