Wen H. • February 9, 2017If you've ever wondered what the right way to make your own yakiniku - this place is a must visit. The beef cuts are all fantastic, but save room for the pork jowl.
Kars A. • April 21, 2016Affordable authentic Japanese bar food. We had delicious sashimi and kushiyaki accompanied by a couple of draft Sapporo and went home satisfied and not-broke.
SUPERADRIANME • February 15, 2017Go for the whisky flight and food pairing. Whisky flight of four types of whiskies from S$35 and food pairing from S$12. Quite value for money considering you get to try four different types of whisky
Cheen T. • August 1, 2015Order sake and it's served in a *gasp* bamboo container & cups. Amazing! And the time taken to fill sake through the hole
R • December 27, 2019They use Japanese food to cook authentic Italian dishes. The food was fresh and good quality. The taste was authentic. I found it was a bit overpriced.
Sara K. • February 28, 2018The salad bar is good & has so much more than salad - soba, mentaiko spaghetti, tan men and freshly fried and scrambled egg and Japanese omelette. Don’t go for the cheese hamburg steak.
Bas O. • August 16, 2018Amazing sushi and great watching them work. Each dish is explained and the owner creates an amazing atmosphere. One of the best sushi places I’ve ever been to
Sun B. • September 20, 2020Fresh sashimi and various sake! Food and sake are reasonable, really nice izakaya:)
Ting • July 8, 2017Worthy of its recent bib gourmand mention, the freshly grilled unagi here is full of lovely charred flavour. Recommend the kabayaki whole eel ($50) for maximum satisfaction. Come early to avoid queue.
Edd • September 9, 2020A well-kept secret hideout where u’ll see more Japanese customers than locals. Perfectly deep fried Tonkatsu, karaage & tempura at prices that are bafflingly reasonable. Also, Sapporo draft at $5.50😮
Shannon L. • October 22, 2016Excellent and reasonably priced tempura. Prawn and veg tempura were great. Egg tempura was amazing. Wish they used fish instead of chicken though. Don't order the green tea (hot or cold, $4!).
Cheen T. • January 13, 2023The spare plate provided is meant to hold the overflow of tempura items 😂
kisacake • October 22, 2015Sushi chain from Malaysia. Sushi is mediocre and rice falls apart easily. Tempura soba and takoyaki were decent. Chawanmushi was good. Quite good value for the price, but not outstanding.
Valerie P. • December 23, 2011The sashimi was so fresh, but definitely on a more pricier end than other set lunches around. The place feels very exclusive.
Frances H. • September 2, 2011Prawns super not fresh!!! I rather leave nmy tempura there than have a tummy ache later on.
Ting • March 23, 2019Sashimi are fresh. However rice seasoning of the kaisendon is kinda off. Too salty n sour. Highly recommend the flounder karaage which is fried to a crisp even the bones can be eaten.
Marc M. • February 3, 2016Best to be avoided. Was so far one of the worst Sushi places in Singapore with a premium price tag. Got orders wrong or prepared dishes differently. Chargeable appetizers.
Rachel • September 27, 2018Small cozy restaurant. Tried Indo chicken, Lamb shank & Mantou crab flakes👍 super yummy and portions are generous! 😍
