ℳ𝒶𝓎♍ • July 24, 2016Best running track outdoors in the city. I always start from the lowest point of the park and run all the way up on the East River. The park itself is amazing with soothing views of Queens/Brooklyn
Ada C. • July 30, 2021Awesome views for running and people watching. Go either in the morning or during the weekday because weekend afternoons can get pretty crowded.
Marla M. • March 3, 2010If you get to 14th street, you can either go right for a nice run along the river with parks and a track course. Or go left toward 34th, more hills and steps, a great work out.
LifeguardHub • August 9, 2011Not that much traffic goes to this pool - which is a good thing! Totally agree with E R.
Katherine F. • October 1, 2012Great place to run, or walk. Even if you don't use the track, the path along the water goes all the way down to Edgewater, or you can take it right into Hoboken.
Chris F. • February 26, 2013The salads are way more filling than the sandwiches! Both are really good though!
julia t. • August 1, 2016So much better than theRun. Fast track to getting back into running. High 45.
Ryan B. • August 9, 2011We live in the future! The digital scales in the locker rooms upload your weight and BMI directly to equinox.com so you can track your progress. You sign into the system using your fingerprint.
Taiowa W. • October 25, 2016Good spot to enter. Can get a little crazy with the traffic light and the gas station. It is about 1.25 miles to the track from there.
Abram S. • February 26, 2010The best place on the hood to run on indoor track, swimming and play basket ball in the morning. Get crowded with kids after 11:00am, a total nightmare after 05:00pm!
Marilyn R. • April 11, 2017The track is a great place to exercise but it's best to come in early as to avoid the crowds.
Jeremy K. • August 14, 2014Dirt pump style bike track on Kent ave in Williamsburg, with super chill staff and turns and 'berms for days. Ask for a run down of the course then have at it- pump look and lean!
Kent Y. • March 21, 2013To go with the flow of traffic, run counter-clockwise. Turn on 30th St., not 31st St., as there is no thruway between 1st Ave and 2nd Ave. Per Google maps, the loop is 3.8 miles in length.
New York Habitat • March 7, 2012Walking across the old train tracks you will get an amazing panoramic view of Manhattan. Don’t forget to look towards the Hudson River as well: at one point you can even see the Statue of Liberty!
D !. • December 27, 2015Lovely track to train in Manhattan. Never in winter.
Dan S. • August 12, 2016Best way to walk north to the Javits center. Great views of the water especially as the sun sets.
Hannah R. • September 1, 2010Belly of the Beast is live every Thursday (8-10pm ET). Tune in or stop by the storefront studio to watch Hannah Rad spin the most blog-worthy tracks, along with some old favorites.
Nate S. • September 9, 2022Large park with benches, running track, and outdoor gym behind the York St F. Finally a park in DUMBO that feels like it’s for locals.
Kimmie O. • July 31, 2020The walk from Brooklyn to Manhattan took me just under half an hour - this included stopping to take pictures of the Brooklyn Bridge through the “windows.”
Matt H. • July 1, 2016Best place to buy tickets is under the West Balcony across from track 30. Much shorter lines and lots of machines.
Ashley R. • September 9, 2015Use the app Bandsintown to keep track of whose coming through to all the local venues
Brittney J. • August 14, 2014Sopressata is excellent, or the brussels sprout pizza if you want something more off the beaten pizza track.
