Kristine Y. • January 16, 2012Amazing place for a long run. Almost feels like you are out of the city and so many runners are out as well!
Caroline • August 16, 2015Great running spot with great views and lots of seating along the water. Perfect for picnics!
Ada C. • July 30, 2021Awesome views for running and people watching. Go either in the morning or during the weekday because weekend afternoons can get pretty crowded.
Peggy L. • December 1, 2018Take a break from the rolling hills of Central Park and run along this mostly scenic path along the river. Super flat – my Garmin usually picks to single-digit elevation. Beware of the wind sometimes.
Ale T. • February 21, 2017Favourite spot for a jog, even though it's the most crowded in the Park as the path is pretty narrow. Offers amazing sunsets on the lake too!
Christie S. • June 18, 2011It is beautiful and a great place to run. Lot less people than Central Park.

Keepitmoving T. • December 18, 2015Staff is extremely courteous lovely building great programs for the youth in track excellent NYC program and historic venue, computer classes offered as well!
LifeguardHub • August 9, 2011Not that much traffic goes to this pool - which is a good thing! Totally agree with E R.

Adam D. • November 14, 2014Gets empty earlier in the evenings if you want a quality run with few people around and even with crowds, I've always found them pleasant, everyone staying in their lanes and so on.
Chris F. • February 26, 2013The salads are way more filling than the sandwiches! Both are really good though!
Kent Y. • March 21, 2013To go with the flow of traffic, run counter-clockwise. Turn on 30th St., not 31st St., as there is no thruway between 1st Ave and 2nd Ave. Per Google maps, the loop is 3.8 miles in length.
Kimmie O. • October 20, 2020The length of this running track is 1.58 miles .
