Ryan S. • August 13, 2018Fun place to go spend some time with family. Lots to see and do.
AzScenicTours • August 2, 2010To see the grounds and different buildings you must join a tour. The tours are very good and the guides are very much fun!
Brian R. • March 18, 2020Chaparral Park is in a great location, is beautiful, and provides several different types of amenities! I'd recommend downloading the app, Avem, to find your favorite park amenities!
Danielle C. • October 23, 2018Check out the LOVE statue and the water feature with fountains and cute ducks 🦆😊
Robby W. • September 26, 2012Super friendly people, great parking everywhere and nice park and atmosphere for running/dog walking etc.
Jason G. • March 27, 2014Entry is free to the grounds and the model train building. The train ride, carousel, and Pullman museum are reasonable and fun! Great place.
H.C. @. • January 24, 2014There are several trails you can go on from here, so grab a trailmap (or use your phone to take a photo of the larger one) so you know where to go.
@CaptGeek (. • November 30, 20136 volleyball courts, so we had plenty of places to play our tournament!
Lauren N. • December 5, 2016I love the separate areas for active and passive dogs and it's always very clean.
Mike E. • May 12, 2013If you want a great 2 hour hike in the valley, start from either 104th Street Access or Lost Dog Wash-- this is the midpoint. A good 4 hour hike is to go from 104th St to Lost Dog Wash and back, too.
Melissa B. • May 28, 2012It's so peaceful at night here with the sounds of the fountains and crickets.
Toni A. • October 28, 2013Be sure to watch your dog so you can pick up the poop, even if it's on the other side of the park.
Kelli • November 6, 2018Cute area to bring out of town guests to eat and walk around. Tourist type shops.
Bradley D. • May 29, 2014If you go for an early morning run, pay attention to the east. Run on the side closest to the sun so you don't get the double whammy of sun and reflected sun off the canal. Great, flat running!
Brenda • March 17, 2013I love hiking the Gateway Trail. Bring LOTS of water, a camera and just take your time. So many rush past so they can get their workout, but they miss the ever changing beauty!
Lauren P. • April 6, 2016One of my favorite hikes in the area; challenging enough and not too crowded.
