Josh F. • May 9, 2018Fantastic neighborhood bar. Good calm vibes, fantastic drinks, and an impressive spirits menu. I’d recommend the “After The Gold Rush”.
timoni w. • April 17, 2013A cozy little Bernal cocktail den; good for first dates, post-dinner friend drinks, and listening to organ solos.
SFist • July 22, 2016The grand, homey patio at El Rio is home to one of the biggest monthly dance parties in town. Their Margaritas and Palomas are good and strong, they sell $2 Tecates, and the bartenders are cool.
Kendra C. • January 28, 2019Great IPAs and Detroit-style (thick crust) pizza. They even offer multiple wines and guest beers from other living legends like Monkish and Alvarado Street. Always busy!
Bikash M. • March 30, 2017Great selection of whiskey and alcohol. They also have Tartine bread, and some unique food/beverage related gifts!!
Ben G. • April 7, 2015The gnocchi with crispy pork belly is fantastic. Be sure to sample one or two of their unusual yet fabulous wines by the glass.
Holger L. • March 24, 2014Awesome former bank location. I recommend the Rocketman pizza. Great craft beer selection on tap. The small Biergarten tables require some tricky maneuvering though.
Erin L. • March 9, 2016Cozy little spot with an amazing menu. Everything we tried was delicious, but favorites were the pork chop and pappardelle (w/ guanciale & black truffle added, clearly).
Gene X. • January 27, 2019Awesome spot for pinball! Get a beer & some tots while you play! Some rare games here too! Ask about the tutorials & tournaments/selfie league.
Holger L. • May 27, 2013It's a hidden gem in the Lower Mission. Their cold-brewed ice-coffees come with ice-cubes made of coffee. Yeah. Outdoor seating. Also, free wifi - pw: coffeeshop
