Kulturhaus means in german language "culture house". It is very close to the english translation, so this concept can be easily read and reproduced by everyone, all over the world. This name is nothing dangerous, it's quite the opposite. It has nothing to do with those communist buidlings created in the 70's and ready to fall in the dust and it's not really a culture house stuck in its own project. It's really something new in this ever changing world. And it means exactly what it says, a house of culture. A place where everyday artistic actions (concerts, photo, graphic and paint exhibitions, experimental plays, movie projections, art-performances of every kind) find their home. This concept is extremely new because the way this is offered to the public is extremely new, also. Just like an art magazine which has some new creative layout with every issue. Of course, maybe in that magazine the content doesn't bring something new to the eyes of the reader, but the layout does it.
