"The hotel is in a great location and the rooms are good enough for a night,but we were charged for the night without our permission before we left after having said that we wouldn't pay until checkout"

"Short walking distance from the Lido vaporetto station, 3 stops away from Pzz San Marco. Hotel is clean and slightly refurbished but doesn't live up to a 4* standard. Good for a couple of nights."

"The place has a nice garden to sit at to have a pizza. The staff is average towards bad and the smell of the canal next to the garden stincks sometimes. Just a quick fix while touring San Paolo."

"Book at least 2 weeks in advance. Went for breakfast and had the most glorious fruit plate (enormous) with yogurt and a pot of tea for a very reasonable price. Great for business meetings."

"The champagne is fairly good price. Go for a light dinner or aperitif, the meat and cheese board is good enough for two."
