Jagar MogarOctober 26, 2015比叡山飯室谷のはずれ。鬱蒼とした杉林の奥にある廃寺。江戸中期に興った小乗戒を重視する天台宗安楽律の拠点。1949(昭和24)年、放火によってほとんどの堂宇を消失。以降無住の廃寺同然となる。現在は山門と再建された仮本堂、藤原定家の碑と爪塚、歴代住職の無縫塔などが残る。その荘厳な雰囲気の境内は、映画るろうに剣心、大河ドラマ「江」などのロケ地として使用されている。
