充実の常設展、多彩な企画展だけでなく、素晴らしい建物自体も見どころです。

舟越保武さんの彫刻が常設されています。長崎の殉教の彫像が数体、樹脂でかたどられ、展示してあります。大理石の胸像は、石のなかより発光するように淡く輝き、冷たい石とは思えない、暖かみのあるほのかな光を感じます。
