山形県旧県庁舎及び県会議事堂山形県郷土館 ”文翔館” 山形県の第2代県庁舎。1916年竣工。煉瓦造だが外から見える外壁部には花崗岩が使用されている。国指定重要文化財。外観も内部も荘厳な建物。無料で見学できます。開館時間 9:00～16:30 月曜休館

旧山形県庁舎です。入館料無料で中を見ることが出来ます。中には明治時代から現在までの山形の歴史などに関する展示やパネルがあります。隣接する旧議事堂では、コンサートが開かれている時もあります。

煉瓦で囲まれた中庭と別棟のホール。ホールは現役で今も演奏会をしている。二階から覗くと風情がある。
