Nice traditional house with a very pretty garden. It's a samurai house but feels like it's just a traditional house rather than having any samurai connection.
Brilliant collections! Can have classic Japanese green tea at real 'old' tea room with amazing garden sight. It's only 300 yen/cup with a traditional snack. Shouldn't miss it.
The museum itself might not have much to write home about. The garden however. Go upstairs and enjoy a nice cup of tea and the serene overhead view of it.
Nomura Family Residence are the old houses of the Maeda clan’s samurai warriors. The Maeda clan was one of the most powerful samurai families of the Edo period in Japan.
