    日本で４例しかない上円下方墳。まわりは住宅地でもとは神社の裏山として存在していたらしい。

    日本に４基ある上円下方墳の１つ。発見された中では日本最大・最古（大化の改新～壬申の乱あたり）のもの。築造当時の姿に近い形で復元。
