    【国指定重要文化財】…第三の天守とも言われる宇土櫓は、城内に唯一、慶長年間(1596-1614)の建物です。西南戦争で焼失しなかったのは奇跡的(^o^)/

    宇土櫓は慶長の造営時に小西行長が築いた宇土城の三層五重の天守を移築したものとの説がある。約20メートルの石垣に建ち天守閣並みの大きさを誇ります。
