旧日本陸海軍から現代まで、日本のエアボーンの歴史が詰まった極めて貴重な博物館。1911 年に東京・目黒の陸軍騎兵学校内に明治天皇の御馬見所として建てられたものを、同校の移転に伴い移築したもの。三笠宮崇仁親王が陸軍騎兵学校に在学中は本館の 2 階に住まわれたという。公開日は月 1 回あるかないかなので、第一空挺団のサイトで要確認。
