GREAT place, go to the 2nd floor and get FRESH seafood, the sashimi boat (pic) is AMAZING!! 30 pcs for $8.33. The giant prawns and the beef & asparagus are awesome too 😄👍

You may buy the fresh seafood at the wet market and bring up to 2 level to cook n it .. But beware a lot of stall owner are fm mainland have to check the price before the start cooking !

Lots of random stores selling various things. Then there's an indoor area selling meat and fish, quite interesting to see if you pass by one of the entrances which are not easy to find.

It can look like a bit dirty, but that's a good place to try sea food. Choose and buy, then ask to eat on the 2nd floor. They'll prepare in minutes your meal the way you prefer.

There are a lot of local restaurants in this area.

Buy fish on the first floor and the places on the second will prepare them for a small fee. Try it out!

Wet market is targeted for mainland tourists. They all greet you in mandarin.

国際通りの中心部にあるこの市場は、1948年、開南にあった市役所跡地に市が闇市の露天商を収容したことに始まる。現在の建物は1972年のもの。建物内には肉、魚、乾物等を商う店が連なっている。沖縄の観光スポットの一つであり土産品も扱うが、本来は地元民の台所。沖縄の伝統的な食材が一堂に集まり、食文化を知ることができる場所。今でも正月や旧盆前には地元客で賑わう。2階には食堂もある。

1階で買った食べ物を、2階で調理してくれる。生魚が苦手な人でも食べられるように調理してくれるのがありがたい

Aquí puedes comprar pescado en el primer piso y en el segundo te lo cocinan con un precio módico.

みんなで楽しくお食事する時は、オススメです。お店の人に良く聞いてオーダーしましょう。

カラフルな魚がたくさんあって、見るだけでも飽きません。２階で食事をしたことがないので、今度は、食べてみたいと思います。

１階の鮮魚店でお刺身を買って、２階の食堂で食事できます。このお刺身は500円でした(^-^)

一階の角に「まちぐゎー総合案内所」があります。公設市場以外のことも答えてくれますよ。

高く見える魚も、スマホで市場価格を調べてみると案外普通でした。

自動車の方は、国際通り付近の駐車場確保に苦労します。また、駐車料金は滞在時間によっては上限制でない方が安い場合あり。
