"「松永貞徳（1571〜1653）により作庭されたと伝わる「雪月花の三庭苑」は、江戸時代、寺町二条の妙満寺（現在は左京区岩倉）の「雪の庭」、清水寺の「月の庭」、そして北野天満宮の「花の庭」それぞれが成就院（成就坊）という塔頭に造られた庭として、その名を馳せました。 本年（2022）、明治以降は現存していなかった当宮の「花の庭」を再興させ」たとするが、貞徳の庭の再現には全くなっていない。"
