    この社は元、板倉主計頭邸内に祭られていましたが、明治維新の後、武家屋敷が取り払われて町家と変り祠のみが残っていました。廃れゆく稲荷を惜しんだ町内の有志が蓄財を出し合い保存と祭社の策を講じていたもので明治36年佐久間公園北隅に遷座されました(掲示より)
