호수 주변 어딘가에서 해질 무렵에 쓰레기인지 모를 뭔가를 태우시는 분이 있으니 꼭 강릉시청에 민원 넣어주세요. 도립공원인데다 가족단위의 관광객과 운동하시는 분들이 많이 이용하시는 호수인데, 태우는 연기와 냄새는 불쾌하네요.

자전거도로와 산책로가 잘 되어 있으며 지루하지 않게 연꽃, 꽃밭, 운동기구 등이 잘 배치되어 잇습니다.
