Dongjangdae stands next to Dongbuk Gongsimdon, facing Changnyongmun across an archery field. The command post is nicknamed Yeonmudae, a reference to its second function as a training camp.

국궁체험 활 10발에 2천원입니다. 재밌어요. 쏘실때 활을 과녁보다 왼쪽을 겨냥하고 쏘셔야하구요. 가위바위보!하실때처럼 손을 뙇!!놓으셔야합니다. 체험시간은 9시30분부터 30분간격. 점심시간 12시부터 1시까지는 하지않습니다. 11월부터 2월은 동절기로 체험하지않습니다.
