Go to a stall with other people buying from it. Order whatever you want. They'll bring it up to a restaurant that you can eat it at. 30,000 ₩ for a gourmet sashimi meal. It's amazing.

Most people go for king crab, but snow crab is also a very good option. Plus rmb to try out the fish soup in these restaurants. Best in Seoul

Grab a fresh fish you might fancy, go to one of the restaurants in the back of the market and let them cook your fish for you. Don't forget to buy a small octopus and eat it life with soy and wasabi!

Very fresh fish. Buy what you want at the market and bring it to one of the restaurants to cook for you. There is a minimum per head charge at the restaurants plus cooking fees.

Fun experience if you'd like to try out the local seafood. Make sure you are clear about the cooking prices for the fish - it can triple your per person costs.

Pick out a fish from one of the tanks and about 5 minutes after you bring it to a dude with a knife, you’ll be eating some of the freshest Korean style raw fish (회/hwe) you can have in Seoul.

A little overwhelming, as all of the vendors are pretty aggressive. But tons of fun to pick your lunch!

The restaurants upstairs will cook whatever you buy at the market for a fee. They'll also help you buy the seafood if you want. Pretty unique experience overall

Travelers, if you are buying fresh seafood for a chosen restaurant to cook, be careful as other restaurants have runners who will grab your bag of seafood and insist & take you to their restaurant.

It's amazing just seeing the whole variety of seafood here, but the annoying thing has got to be those 'sales people' at every store trying to rope customers - they can be a bit agressive.

Grab the fish and crustaceans you fancy and head straight to the backside of the market, where countless restaurants are located - they will cook your fish for you!

Expect to pay at least another 50% on top of costs of purchased seafood for them to be prepared by the restaurants in the back alley. Cheaper if you cook them yourself at home.
