I highly recommend this place. Awesome clean food, great and friendly staff. Great for families as it's kid friendly. The staff will even perform a magic trick.
I've been back here so many times ever since last year. Definitely recommend their chicken soup based no.1 and no.7 with garlic puree! okonomiyaki stick and karagerice is yummy too
no.6 tonkotsu black was awesome!! However the chicken katsu curry is very ordinary, will not order again. San-San @ crows nest still does best katsu curry. But Manpuku is now my no.1 Sydney ramen!!
Provides u with a range of the usual ramen in Sydney. However, their specialty ramen r of Northern Jap origin. Get #7 (shiawase) for a beautiful broth with subtle flavours.
If you like Gumshara's super thick broth, then u might not like this place. Still easily one of the more authentic Japanese ramen in Sydney. They needa work on their queuing & seating system though
The ramen is large and cheap for student. Just show your card. The eggs seemed a little pricey and the miso was very salty. I would recommend but menya in the city is superior.
If I have to choose between this and Ipuddo, it is Ipuddo at anytime. Overcooked noodles and taste like from packet and oily soup, so heavy and all you taste is just oil floating on around your throat
I was upset that one Japanese counter lady treated me bad. They look friendly, but who knows what they are talking confidentially in Japanese. Because I understand Japanese... Never going back!
