    周辺の地名や駅名としても使われている「大門」は、増上寺の旧総門のことを指す。2016年4月現在、増上寺は港区に対し大門の文化財登録を申請しており、港区はこの申請をもって区道上にある大門の道路占有料を免除するとの方針を示している。

    大門駅ってここから名前とったのか。浅草線のホームからは確かに近い。大江戸線の感覚だと浜松町だよなぁって思うけど。
