Very delicious! The lunch set was still available when I arrived at 2pm. An English menu is available, and they take credit cards. The Tempura Zen set (2300¥) was very filling and great variety.
(4/5) Cozy restaurant known for their tempura dishes, which you can order a la carte or omakase style, depending on your mood. The latter is quite a bit of food, so eater beware!
This is always a must-do when we come to Tokyo. Traditional tempura shop, batter is light, but flavorful. Service is simple yet complete. Wish we had something like this back home!
Delicious, authentic tempura. No line here usually. Friendly service. Dine on the bar to see the cooks prepare your meal. Your clothes may smell a little like cooking oil after though.
I was a little disappointed for the price. The cheapest combo was ¥2,300 and you get a small piece of fish, 2 very small prawn, 1 slice of lotus, 1sm eel, and a shrimp kakiage. Sounds more than it is.
It's 1 of those times we disagreed wholeheartedly w/ d rating. Both set meals we had were mediocre @best.Portion was also small. We left d restaurant feeling dissatisfied & smelling like kitchen grease.
Good tempura and great service, get the ala-carte. Highly recommend the natto, leek and tempura egg yolk! I would skip the fish, it's very fresh but the veggies are more flavorful :-)
