Don’t get plain bc it’ll taste like every other udon you’ve tried. The onigiri with tofu skin IS BOMB tho. I don’t even usually like it nor eat it elsewhere but I devoured this one. Out of this world!

Excellent ramen. The Bukkake ramen was excellent. So was the tempura shrimp and spam masubi.

The line up is due to cafeteria style food ordering and seating. Fast turnover rate in seating so the wait isn't too long. They make the udon right in front of you. You get to see it raw>cut>cooked!

Top notch, well worth the wait if/when there is a line outside. Best udon noodles you can get without actually going to Japan.

One of the best udons I've ever had! Additions (like tempura shrimp) are ala carte. Line moves deceptively fast.

Marukame is ok. There's a pretty long line and in my opinion it's not exactly worth the wait. Homemade noodles with a variety of broths either veggie or beef.

Unique cafeteria style restaurant where you can "design" your own Udon bowl by adding whatever sides you like. They don't accept cards despite of being located in the middle of Waikiki.

Always line-ups here. Compared to other times, minimal waiting time between 14:30-15:30 (<30 minutes) and around 21:30 (<10 minutes), 30 minutes before closing at 22:00.
