Старинный дворец, где когда то жил король!! До сих пор там иногда устраивают представления со времен Чосона. Так же можете посмотреть на смену караула

1776년 정조의 즉위식이 열렸던 궁궐. 도성 안의 서쪽에 있다하여 서궐로 불리웠음. 1910년 일본인들이 경성중학교를 짓기위해 철거하기 시작해서 지금은 여러 건물들이 없어짐.

다른 여타 궁궐과 달리 뒷편에 비탈진 야산에서 궁궐 전경을 바라볼수 있습니다. 날이 추웠지만 맘은 차분해지더군요.

일제시대 대부분 파괴된채 전각 몇채 남지 않았지만, 뒷쪽 동산을 이용하며 전각 전체를 바라볼수있다.
