Very arguably the best fish and chips in the Twin Cities area. Open kitchen- sit at the bar and watch the magic happen. Small space, expect to split up large groups.
Great little cafe with tasty egg sandwiches. Get 'em on croissant and you can ask for veggie style with spinach and tomato. Great coffee drinks! SUPER friendly service- the owner is a peach.
A gem. Large selection of cheese and super friendly cheesemongers that'll help you find what you're looking for. Ask to try a bunch of local MN and WI cheeses, esp. if you're from out of town.

This is BY FAR one of my favorite dive bars! They have great karoke and everyone is a friend! They also happen to have BOMB fries.
