Eateries and cafes in Klang Valley that have acquired renowned status through decent menu offerings / specialities and a usually unique dining experience. *no 'Subways' or '7-Elevens' on this list.
Neal Jansen: This venue has been closed since Nov 2012 :( Renowned for it's generous portions of legendary Tom Yam Fried Rice enjoyed by gamers, students and everyone under the sun.

mr nobody: Acha has a few things other banana leaf joints usually don't have, sambal ikan bilis, salted fish curry and crab curry! Attentive service and decent prices make Acha one of the best in KL.
Neal Jansen: Tea Passion has closed down and is now run by different owners as "Cha-Woo". They do however still somewhat follow the same drinks preparation format & are located in Uptown, Damansara Utama.
Palmdoc: Oh, and it's not a shop, it operates out of a van. Burgers are crisp and nice but can be a bit messy as they are quite generous with the sauces.

Neal Jansen: Been around for a looong time. What started out as a mediocre pizza joint / bar, has evolved into a great place for genuinely delicious (porky) pasta & pizzas. Pastas are 50% off for weekday lunches.
Neal Jansen: Tuesdays for waffles! Quality stuff. If you don't like it soggy, request for ice cream on the side. Whipped cream makes the waffle soggy too.
KLue: Nothing like having nasi lemak with techno music blasting from the nearby DVD shop! Crowded from 9pm till late but service is fast. Don't forget to order the teh o' ais limau too!

Tien ming: Cheap and nice nasi lemak bungkus. Sometime got potato wedges at the 2nd store on the left. Perfectly boil half boil eggs also available and crack for you.

Neal Jansen: Famous grilled fish (somewhat hidden) in the middle of Petaling Street. Fish & grazy is baked in tinfoil on charcoal fire. Spicy & AWESOME.

Burger Joint · 131 tips and reviews
Neal Jansen: It's a bit of a wait, but these burgers will make you feel as though you're stuck in between heaven & HELL YEA. Don't know how this compares to 'BurgerLabs' but easily among the best in SS15.
