Atmos is amazing here! Just visited from NY and couldn't find a better place that summarizes all of Portland than Doug Fir's Lounge.
Part coffee shop, art gallery, internet café, and all-ages music venue, it's a chill hangout space that could only exist in Portland. The Thermals love it for the awesome vibe & good people.
Top Mexican in Portland. The tacos and margaritas are amazing, but I also highly recommend Bryan's Bowl. Go on Taco Tuesday's for cheap food and drinks!
Man up and try the 13+ inch "Mancakes." Or anything... huge portions, good food, awesome diner. Go for brunch but be prepared for a wait on the weekends!
