Kyle Bunch: Austin's best pizza spot. Can get a little packed, but More Home Slice (next door on S. Congress) is a good option for a slice or take-out when the original location is too packed.
Kyle Bunch: Right up there with the fried chicken from Olivia...and make sure to get a waffle when they have them, they're light and delicious and a perfect accompaniment.
Kyle Bunch: If you're brunching, this is the spot. The Steak & Migas Eggs Benedict are two mounds of egg-and-meat heaven covered in chipotle-spiked Hollandaise and the Bloody Mary is as good as it gets.

Kyle Bunch: A welcome addition downtown, Second has a good range of new American food that isn't quite as pricey as the award-winning prix fixe menu at sister restaurant Congress next door.

Kyle Bunch: It's not Shake Shack or In-N-Out, but it's as close as you're going to get (for now) in ATX. The cheeseburger is legit, and fresh lemonade or a double chocolate shake is a good way to top it off.
Kyle Bunch: Ok, so it's not technically a restaurant, but nobody bothered to tell them. You won't eat this well at any movie theatre, and thanks to the roving waiters, you'll never have to leave your seat either.
Kyle Bunch: A West 6th gem, featuring great new American eats and unique cocktails, like the Duck Fat Sazerac, which is vastly more delicious than the name might suggest.
Kyle Bunch: Come for the (slightly-overpriced but still quite good) drinks, stay for the awesome decor. Like a little slice of Brooklyn relocated to Austin.
Kyle Bunch: If you're looking for a place to watch the big game without having to settle for substandard grub or underwhelming beer selection, this is the spot.
Kyle Bunch: Chicken and waffles are the go-to, but I'm also a huge fan of the mixed green salad with the shallot vinaigrette (add the pulled chicken if you're into that sort of thing).
Kyle Bunch: The hype is absolutely for real: this is the best BBQ in the U.S. You can't go wrong regardless of what you choose, but the brisket is the MVP of the lineup. But get here early, they will sell out.

Kyle Bunch: Word to the wise: ask for the Mad Cow (beef fajitas, black beans, grilled corn) and Missionary-style Pork (slow-roasted pork w/ guacamole) from the top-secret #sacred menu and thank me later.
