I am a Veronese who lives abroad but regularly travels back home. I have put together this list so that visitors and locals alike can discover Verona's great places. Also check out: #Pizza & #Seafood
Andrea Naletto: Ottimo l'antipasto misto di salumi (lardo, carne salà, polenta, etc). Filetto alla brace eccellente, con pepe verde meno. Servizio rapido e cortese. Desert buoni (tortino Emozioni) ma non eccezionali.
Andrea Naletto: Verona's hidden gem! A wonderful place affiliated with the Slow Food movement. Food is carefully prepared and served. Don't be rushed. Inside seating is gorgeous. Outside area is intimate.

Andrea Naletto: The clumsy, colorful and loud host is the real star of this place. House specialty is Penne del Ropeton, a rich home-made pasta with bell pepper, chorizo, curry in a light creamy souce.
Andrea Naletto: As close as it gets to Milano's buffet-style aperitivo with snacks available at the bar (bruschetta, olives, chips, etc.). There is lunch buffet too for 15 euros.
Andrea Naletto: Among Verona's best and most well-known artisan gelaterie. House's specialties: Semifreddo and Mattonella. The Gianduiotto (photo, a more recent add) is really good!
Andrea Naletto: Arguably Verona's finest wine bar. The upper floor is stunning, the basement is great for casual drinks. Prices are ridiculously affordable. Alternative to Prosecco, try Pedrotti Trento DOC.
