Dropped in this morning for breakfast. The service is great and the food is always freshly prepared. I would recommend sitting out the back for a much more relaxed and peaceful experience.
A somewhat hidden find among the restaurants Guildford has on High Street. Pick this if you want a quieter venue with a gastropub feel.
Good range of beers on tap, such as Oranjeboom and Asahi, usually not available in most other bars in Guildford.
Good music, lot of beers and people that are dancing, especially on Fridays and Saturdays.
Less upmarket than GBK across the road. It has the charming feel of an American diner, although it doesn't quite get it right. Fries portions are large, and the burgers are good.
Somewhat decent Tex-Mex restaurant. Nice decor, and sombreros provided to everyone. Food is slow out of the kitchen but staff is friendly.
University Student Union, has a few nights open to the public throughout the year and a good live music venue.
Easily the best kebab shop in town, if not the county, very impressive, and kebabs can be served in wraps.
Guildford's Wagamamas always has a queue at the weekends,try aiming for obscure times to avoid that.
Venue stocks a fine selection of real ale. Often overlooked by Surrey's student population.
