Anthony: "My favorite Viennese coffee house (Cafe Zentral takes a close second place). They have all the famous Austrian desserts and dishes, all of which are exquisite. It is THE place to go to when walking around the ring street. It is located across from city hall and right next to the Burgtheater, both of which are must-sees."
Anthony: "IMHO Oberlaa has the best dessert in the world. My personal favorite desserts include the Laakronen (macaroons), the truffel cake, their Kurbad cake, and Kaiserschmarrn. For lunch I highly recommend getting a Backhendlsalat, which is a chicken salad with potatoes and pumpkin seed oil - an absolute must for anyone passing through Vienna. There are several Oberlaa locations sprinkled throughout Vienna, the most famous one being in the inner city (first district) near St. Stephen's Cathedral, but it's very small and always packed with tourists. My favorite location is in the third district, which borders the first and is a great area to explore with some must-see attractions like the Belvedere palace housing Klimt's The Kiss."
Anthony: " I can never finish a Figlmüller schnitzel on my own, because it's literally bigger than the plate. But if you're looking for the best Schnitzel in Vienna, it is the Figlmüller-Schnitzel made of pork. I recommend getting it with a side of potato salad with pumpkin seed oil, as well as mixing sparkling water with the grape juice from their vineyards. You can find the famous schnitzel at both the Bäckerstrasse and Wollzeile locations. I prefer the former. They opened a third location at Lugeck, where they do not serve the famous schnitzel, but has some of the best dishes I've had recently. The Lugeck location has very few tourists and is filled with locals. Regardless of which location you end up picking, I strongly recommend making a reservation at least half a day in advance."
Anthony: "Again, there are several locations, but I really only recommend the one on the Wollzeile. You must get the Tafelspitz with horseradish and Fritattensuppe (pancake soup?) on the side. It will be a multi-course, highly filling dinner. So make sure to come here with an empty stomach. A must for anyone who loves beef."
