No que Taco Bell. My continued quest for the best in Mexican Food in San Diego County: "Land of a thousand taco shoppes". See also San Diego/Southbay & East San Diego County
Arthur Mitchell: Excellent. Go for the caldos and pazole, which are deliciso and el sabor! Parking is a bitch, but the food is outstanding and filling.
Arthur Mitchell: Above Average. Looks like a hole in the wall, but don't be fooled. This surfer and skateboarder hang-out has the absolute best carnitas in San Diego.
Arthur Mitchell: Excellent. This one time barber shop in the la Colonia section of Solana Beach is a longtime favorite of the North County Coastal crowd. The place is always packed.

Arthur Mitchell: Excellent. Don't let the exterior or location scare you. The fish tacos: large pieces of fresh fish battered to perfection; and the El Pueblo burrito was money--tasty carne asada & shrimp.

Arthur Mitchell: Excellent. With a name like Mr Taco, you'd think Gringo-ized joint. But to the contrary. This place is outstanding and packed at all time. My al pastor burrito was spicy and flavorful!

Arthur Mitchell: Neighborhood gem! Excellent Taco shop. Extremely extensive menu (Carne, Pollo, Puerco, Pescado) that is cooked to perfection. Way above average cervaza selection for a small taco shoppe.
Arthur Mitchell: Above average. The California Burrito was money: fries crispy and carne asada was flavorful. Would have liked a tangier enchilada sauce, but it still was good...but not great.

Arthur Mitchell: Above Average. A quintessential old school beach taco shoppe. The beans and rice are tasty. And my surf and turf burrito was filling and flavorful.
Arthur Mitchell: Below average. I have to add salt to my burrito because the chicken was unflavored as well as being rubbery. Beans and rice were just average.
Arthur Mitchell: Have to give this place an average rating because the beans had the consistence of paste. The habanero salsa was awesome and the carne asada better than most neighborhood taco shoppes.
Arthur Mitchell: Right next to Home Depot. It is a hang-out of the local day workers. (hint hint) When attending MiraCosta, I went here for lunch 3-4 times per week. Above Average taco shoppe.

Arthur Mitchell: Place was above average. Would have liked my al pastor a bit spicer, but hey that's me. Definitely worth spending your Yankee dollars here.
