they have some good exhibitions here - an easy stroll from Piccadilly Circus - afterwards you can relax in Green Park, further down the road
** near here - one of the small shops - to your left where you get off the vaporetto - is a wine shop - take your own empty 1L water bottle - they'll fill it with nice Merlot - €1.65 !! **
it's nice round here - bleak - walk the sea wall - there's a naturists beach nearby too !! [I don't think its ever used]
Number 1A, next door to the Conservative Club (!), is the site of The Wholefood Shop, 1973 to 1994
handy drop off point for walking down to the sea wall and then follow river Severn to Chepstow - nice walk - a map of the route would be handy - I'll look it up online if there's any interest
Lots of good British art - walk from here along the Thames - past Houses of Parliament, Big Ben - cross Westminster Bridge - go on up past the London Eye to the Festival Hall for lunch
walk from Festival Hall along the banks of the Thames up to Tate Modern, cross over to St Paul's, get the tube - a nice half day
well worth the visit - Asian arts - enjoyed the Tibetan
when I went it was very busy - I usually enjoy visiting old churches but not this visit
why do folk go to Camden? I was there on a Saturday and could hardly move - AND the tube was shut, had to walk down to Mornington Cres - I don't get why it's so popular
the walk along Regent's Canal is great - what I really need is some suggestions for places to eat - not much choice at Little Venice itself esp if it's busy
first visit here they were doing a refurb so half the exhibits weren't available [they never mentioned that when I bought the flight tickets!] - second time, all fine - great modern art - unmissable
great Musée - art - and, like many others have said, get a museum pass - unless you enjoy queueing
the Marcel Duchamp exhibition, on til 9th June, is not bad - helps you see how important he was in changing attitudes
if you're on foot and want to walk somewhere quickly avoid Westminster Bridge - most of the day it is very busy and crowded
St Fagan's !! Great place for old and young, wander round for half or whole day - good place to take visitors to Cardiff if you live here - and...yes...free admission...but you pay to park your car
don't go on a Monday - it's closed - good art in the art galleries - free admission
nice beach - fresh wind - walk along the beach up to Mumbles - have a coffee - catch the bus back - photo is Oystercatchers on the beach with Mumbles in the background
nice here - relaxed - no hassles - explore Essaouira - that blue colour is everywhere - here's a pic of the harbour
you can rent this to stay in from the Landmark Trust - it v compact, spread over four floors - I've been a few times - beautiful views from the top - photo - - !!
played cricket here with my parents and brother couple years ago, don't think you're supposed to, bye-laws and all that - hah! how about bye-laws and in-laws :) anyway, nice park, recently redesigned
it's all right here - good coffee as in Charing X - it's often quiet late night if you just want to hang round and chat
May 2013 - good news - you can now take photographs - no flash, tripods - in most galleries
you see it everywhere - even from Kew Gardens - if you're lost it's like a magnetic north
they keep talking about turning a section of the rec into a car park - let's hope it never happens
well, we nearly got a modern glass and steel design, but hey ho - you get some nice photos shooting from inside, in the dark, to outside, in the light

nice day - get the train from Central to Penarth - walk over the barrage and back to Central - or catch the shuttle Bay-Queen St
Summer 2012, they had the Dali illustrations from Alice's adventures in Wonderland - great to see them close up!
if you're on the 'coastal path' walk you have to cross the railway here - suitable caution is highly recommended
the footpath runs all the way to Exmouth - - this photo was taken just after leaving Lympstone - I call it 'What a long strange trip it's been' - hope you like it

well, it's really nice to find a co-op here - like the local shops back in the UK - 'mini-market' for everyday supplies
