Easy enough for a night trek. Must try Mang Perying's batangas brewed coffee on your way up or down the peak.
The new trail is easier with more camp sites. But looking for a level up (7+ km trek, with 10+ peaks and a rope segment) do the traverse from the new to old or old to new trail
The summit is not as magestic as the other mountains but hikers like this trail for the foliage and the laiya shoreline. Do-able as a day hike then relax at any of the Laiya Beach Resorts.
The hike trough the forest up to the summit is worth it. The view of the Beak and FROM the Beak is a must. Too many campers though so pick a week day to do your hike.
