Really enjoyed coming here after a long day of cycling. I liked the outdoor heated pool the most. My partner enjoyed the salt cave and sauna best. Lots of variety. Something for all ages.

Eine der schönsten Thermen, die ich kenne. Genial sind alle Aufgüsse und auch die Anwendungen im Dampfbad mit Laist, Latschenkiefernöl und Salz. Protipp: Der Überraschungsaufguss am Tagesende!
Die Abend Führung im Schloss ist unbedingt zu empfehlen. Tolle Atmosphäre mit Kerzenlicht, Musik und anschließendem Umtrunk.
Nice castle with amazing vistas, you have to go with the guided tour to visit the inside of the castle but the guide only speaks German, so you have to ask for the audio guide at the beginning
The bus ride to the top is both unnerving and spectacular - just adds to the drama. Very weird going up in the lift then looking round and thinking about the historical significance of here.
Unbedingt die "Fischerfahrt" buchen: Abfahrt gegen 19 Uhr auf den leeren Königssee, Begrüßung durch Thomas und superfrische Königssee-Räucherfische - WOW !!!
If you hike up: wear suitable hiking gear, bring hiking sticks, enough water and wear layers. For experienced hiking folk only: Dopplersteig ropeway, Reitsteig path equally hard, but less scary.
Not bad, but hand lanterns are sh¡t , expect dark... Bring gloves or hand warmers, something to cover the ears/nose... And definitely don't show up after 13:00 unless you want to wait 2hrs in line...
Run around Lake Fuschl:its a 12KM course on a forest path, uphill & downhill along the lake - then go for a swim: 4 spots available: Hofer Steg, Holzknechtstubn, Höfinger Bauer + Fuschl Strandad
Ich empfehle jedem eine umrundung um den Zeller See zu fuß zumachen. Das Panorama ist einfach atemberaubend
It's not so far away from the motorway and in such a few minutes you are standing in front of this beatifull waterfalls. You can also go to the source of the waterfalls. I doesn't last long ;-)
Schöne kühle Klamm um auch mit kleinen Kindern an heißen Sommertagen durch zu wandern. Nach der Klamm kommt man an den Fluss um sich abzukühlen.
Tolles Ausflugsziel mit verschieden langen und anspruchsvollen Routen. Sehenswürdige Klamm.
