It takes a lot to get people outside in Phoenix. But hell, here, the grass bocce ball court, incredible menu, and big outdoor chairs make it so that you’re missing something if you stick to the AC.
The owners took an old farmhouse, stuffed it with weathered tables, an art gallery of local stuff, and a heck of a beer list. Grab a drink, walk around. Sometimes the best seat isn’t a seat at all.
Do yourself a favor and rile up your tasted buds with a glass—or three—at this bar while you wait for a table at the same owners pizza shop next door. Hint: these Italians know how to pick their wine.
