My favourite places to eat in Kyiv in no particular order. I would single out Goodwine Store, which has Sushi, Pizza and Cafe in-store - it has generally a high quality of food ingredients.
By far, the best sushi place in Kiev - never mind its hidden location in a gourmet food store.
Excellent coffee and matcha, you can get REALLY nice ice cream inside the store and sit on the stairs terrace.
If you want to go out of the mainstream - this is your place. Asian sandwiches and salads in an underground cafe with deep Asian tastes. Definitely worth the effort to find it!
