Judy Julian: I've stayed at both the Shannon Breeze and the Old Post Office. They are both charming and comfortable. Lena Cummins is a wonderful and gracious hostess. I'm looking forward to a return visit!
TempleBar Tradfest: They have 3 stouts, 3 ales & 3 lagers. It's Irelands largest genuine Irish Brewery. Try an original pint & their steak sandwich. Live music 7 nights a week. Buy the beer to take home as a gift!
Cearúilín Ni Riain: Four floors with varied music; packed on weekends, great beers, as well as Guinness; they brew their own. Bit cramped to get food; when people finish their food they stay put, so get in early.
Cearúilín Ni Riain: Not many places can claim to have won the National Pub of the Year FOUR times – this is a must-visit if you’re visiting Kilkenny City.

Steven Loi: Egg tofu w/ spicy garlic sauce (instant fave of my vegetarian restaurant), rice noodles w/ spicy pork minced, fish filet in hot chili oil. These are GREAT dishes for the authentic Chinese food eaters!
