The emphasis is mainly on wifi, power, and ideally some food options and easy accessibility, but compromises are sometimes made for great atmosphere!
RIP Ohana.
Ches Martin: Library-style work tables, and a library of books you can peruse covering art, design, film, business, philosophy, etc. complements the university vibe here.
Ches Martin: Good for people-watching in bustling Siam, not so good if you want peace and quiet. Wifi, power, food, coffee, and some group work cubbies if you can manage to snag an available one.
Ches Martin: Food, coffee, fruit smoothies, power, standing work surface if you like, staff is nice and always lets me reset wifi router myself if it flakes. Empty on a weekday. My best place to work in K Village.
Ches Martin: Hip place with some retro stylings, good tunes, nice management, and Thai food staples. Becomes a chill bar scene in the evening, so good to wind down an afternoon of work here in time for happy hour.

Ches Martin: Food and drinks are great, there's no denying it, but especially since remodeling they're about turnover and are not very welcoming to people lingering. Good for a meeting, not for hours of working.

Ches Martin: Nice atmosphere with good snacks and beverages, a little off the beaten path so it's usually quiet. Only thing I nick them on is a lady who seems to be a manager who has a not-so-kind disposition.
Ches Martin: Food and coffee are so-so, it's convenient for getting work done and having a bite seconds from Ekkamai BTS. Wifi and some power available. Open to mall foot traffic passing by so bring headphones.
Ches Martin: Plenty of nice natural light, set in a small garden of sorts (at least by Bangkok standards of a garden...). Pretty good Japanese fusion food.
Ches Martin: I'm through with eating here, it's poor Thai food that's very overpriced and service is awful. The cafe upstairs is good for working though: wifi, power, strong coffee 24 hours. Seats hurt though.
Ches Martin: Food can be slow and quality varies in consistency, but sweets are pretty dependable. Comfortable space, nice garden deck if you can suffer the mosquitos. Coffee, wifi and booze 24 hours a day.
Ches Martin: Probably the best cafe to work and have a bite in Asoke area. Good food, drinks and staff. Don't hog a seat too long on a weekend but on a weekday you can comfortably use wifi and power for hours.

Ches Martin: Really hipster, but it's cozy if you lounge upstairs or good for a few people if you can get a group table. I get the feeling this is where designer kids from rich families go when they leave TCDC.
Ches Martin: There's not a lot of space here but you can get some work done if you can grab a table. Great coffee, staff is nice, and it's a mellow vibe. If you need a full meal, Cailin down the hall is excellent.
Ches Martin: Living around the corner, I've been coming here for a few years. Solid cafe - good espresso, decent food, polite staff, wifi. Quiet, since it doesn't draw many people other than hotel guests.
Ches Martin: Not a lot of space but they care about quality coffee, you can even order equipment through them. Wifi and power, several food options from the other outlets in Rain Hill.
Ches Martin: That industrial loft aesthetic that's all the rage for BKK cafes these days, but they pull it off well here. Good coffee, manages to feel like a quiet refuge even though it's central Ekkamai.
Ches Martin: Good tunes, good food, chill, nice proprietors. The Big Breakfast is not *too* big and is rounded out with good veggies. Interesting tea selection.
Ches Martin: Nicely designed for a casual café and workspace. Meals with ample veggie servings. Covered outdoor seating, meeting room available. Happy hour specials.
Ches Martin: Across the street from Rajamangala Uni so it's mainly a student stronghold. Food is basically convenience store fare, but it's a spacious, bright and comfortable place to work, open 24 hours.
Ches Martin: Too popular on weekends to work here, but you could pull it off on a weekday. Food & drinks are good but nearly everything is sweet and a bit pricey. Beautiful space and garden setting are main draws.
Ches Martin: The proprietors here are genuinely friendly. When you need a dose of down-to-earth in Thonglor, which is probably often, this might be your place.
Ches Martin: Great coffee, best owners. Espresso and pour-over, light snacks, wifi and power. It's a very family-and-friends kind of place, which can sometimes mean noisy groups—bring headphones if you need focus.
