Margaret Myers: "I'm in love with Green Elephant! Crispy wontons, hot and spicy soy sticks, spicy vegetable medley, and peanut curry are all top notch. Baked goods okay, sorbet standard, yummy chocolate mousse pie."
Erik Cintron: "This is just a fairly new built place. Has a 9/11 Memorial, gazebo, and just beautiful views of the north Atlantic ocean. U can picnic, beautiful houses to look at parking is decent. Just take a seat"
Epicurious: "At first it's a bit shocking to stumble upon this incredible ode to Scandinavia in the middle of Maine. But it does exist-house-made aquavit, boards of delicious smørrebrød, & mounds of pickled fish."
Alan Mooiman: "Creative drinks, fantastic atmosphere- from the visuals to the music. The owners put in a lot of effort into making this an amazing new bar in town that feels like a NYC bar without being pretentious."
Christoph B.: "Serious coffee place with trained baristas and great selection of pour over coffee. They primarily use Kalita Wave for pour over which creates a very pleasant, smooth coffee. Highly recommended."
Daniel Santos: "Siphon coffee is so interesting. It's a novel way to brew a good cup of coffee. The atmosphere is a very rustic play on the "Speckled Axe" nomer. I also need to try Fruity Pebbles milk!"
Anastasia Belozertseva: "Solid choice for a lobster roll! There was a bit of a wait, but service was quick. Loved customization with my roll- I got avocado on top + pineapple mayo. Old bay seasons on the fries for the win!"
Jonathan R: "Lobster rolls are generous but the bread wasn't our favorite. You need to order the fried lobster tail aka a lobster corn dog! So good and decadent dipped in butter!!"
Al S: "I was blown away by the unique and inspired Thai food here. Every dish we tried was exceptional. It's also very vegetarian/vegan friendly. (You're a damn fool if you don't try the sticky rice ball.)"
alex lapa: "Sundays and Wednesdays after 9:30 go for the half off late night menu. Prince Edward Mussels, crispy squid, quail eggs and Thai chicken wings are all awesome small plates."
Claire Evanoff: "This place is heaven. Reservations fill up early but do what I did - stop by when they open and grab one of their walk-in slots. Then have a drink at North Point or Portland Hunt + Alpine Club. 💣"
Osman Javed: "Squash ravioli and black bass were amazingly clean yet flavorful. The chicken was perfectly cooked with just the right amount of char. Chilled seafood platter was a great starter. Staff was amazing"
