Luke: "Nicely curated films and spectacularly curated snacks at this indie theater. There's a date friendly bistro upstairs and the smaller of the two screening rooms is pine scented, no joke"
Heidi: "Fresh food, excellent cocktails, really friendly and helpful staff. Harissa eggs were the winner. Won’t get the bacon next time. Banana bread was good but slightly dense for the purists out there."
Mikahla Vicino: "This place is stylish as heck. The backroom is cozy and modern, and you get plenty of space to relax. Definitely get the fried chicken sandwich. My favorite drink was the mango sticky rice."
Noah Weiss: "This is Jewish brunch heaven. Just get there early if you don't want a long wait. Super Hebster -- whitefish salad, salmon, wasabi infused roe on bagel toast -- and the Lower Sunny Side (pictured)."
Reggie James: "Wifi strong. Clean design. Hip vibes. The owner will walk you through all the different chai. One of my favorite spots to chill downtown. I always bring friends here to read / do some work :)"
Tessa Domzalski: "Visually it's stunning, but don't be deceived by photos, the place is TINY. Come alone. Great chai latte. A very wide menu of healthy dishes."
Bailey Richardson: "Amazing spread of healthy options (nut butter smoothies, açaí bowls, salads, sandwiches) plus coconut macarons. AND it’s affordable, family owned/ run & just expanded into a bigger cozy new spot."
Chris Maliwat: "Go for the brunch on Sundays. In particular, ask for a special waffle like this chicken and waffle instant classic with chicken, scallions, cheese and srirachi INSIDE THE WAFFLE."
Christopher Stubbs: "I simply love it here. If you are here for the weekend be sure to check out the free flowing Dim Sim brunch"
Gothamist: "The Bowery Ballroom has been one of the city's premiere rock venues since opening on the Lower East Side in 1997, hosting hip bands by the boatload in its intimate, 550-person space."
Rebecca Balnis: "When I'm in California I'm at the Casbah, and when I'm in New York this is where you'll find me."
