Great views over the river. Walk down the steps from the Castle and stroll along the river all the way to Grimbald Bridge (1.5 miles).
Best fish and chips in the town. Great after a night in Blind Jacks as you stumble home.
After you've come down the steps from the Castle enjoy a bacon buttie and a cuppa tea and then go for a row up the river to Collingham Hall.
I've lived in Knaresborough for 20yrs and never been, but it's what the town is famous for. If you go tell me what it's like! ;-)
