Pileated woodpeckers are common throughout the park. They leave rectangular holes in trees as they dig for insects- search for these in the park!

Great place to take a walk with the dog, go for a jog or hike! Go down the trail by the long house and there is an amazing creek at the end, perfect to dip your feet in! (and catch crayfish)

The Trail runs 16 miles along the Genesee River between the Erie Canal and the Port of Rochester at Lake Ontario, but sections downtown northward to Middle Falls are not continuous. Read more.
