Lots of great playgrounds in Prospect Park ... this one has a big old Jack & the Beanstalk type harp statue that's a sprinkler in the summer.
Beautiful exterior & decent cafe with reasonably priced, kid-friendly food. Big kid section that's got plenty to read, computers, etc., though isn't especially cozy.
Good rainy day stop. Lots of stuff on the sale shelves in the children's section downstairs.
Delicious baked goods to take out so your rambunctious children don't disturb the computing hipsters.
