The building was dedicated to Monte Ahuja, one of its most successful graduates, in 1999. In 2011, Mr. Ahuja donated $10 mil. to CSU, renaming the college to the Monte Ahuja College of Business. Read more.
Former CSU Trustee, Joseph E. Cole, donated the Cleveland Press Library to CSU in 1984. In 1990, the Cole Center for Continuing Education was dedicated to Mr. Cole.
Added to CSU in 1966, it is the home of the College of Education & Human Services. The building is named in honor of Anand "Bill" Julka, a CSU alumnus who donated $6 mil. to the university in 2010. Read more.
The Cleveland-Marshall School of Law became the 6th college at CSU in 1969. The school celebrated its 100th anniversary in 1997. Prince Charles received an Honorary Doctor of Laws degree in 1977.
Completed in 1910, it was home to the family of iron-ore shipping magnate Samuel Mather. It is one of the only surviving mansions on Euclid Ave's Millionaire's Row. CSU purchased the house in 1967. Read more.
Formerly known as the University Center Atrium, or "The Cage." It opened in 1974, but was demolished in 2008 to make way for the University Student Center, a $54 mil. building which debuted in 2010. Read more.
The CSU College of Urban Affairs was established in 1977.
The Convocation Center opened in 1991 and was named in honor of Bert L. and Iris S. Wolstein in 2005.
The first CSU Alumni Award was given, and Alumni Reunion was held, in 1966. The Alumni Association website first went live in 1999. In 2007, CSU reached the 100,000 alumni mark.
