Marc: NJ.com Top 32 BBQ: #28 - Pulled pork sandwich alone is enough to get them on this list. Seasoned with sass and spice, it’s a winner. Try the cornbread pudding, too.
Marc: NJ.com Top 32 BBQ: #27 - Headquartered inside old mill. Try Big Momma combo: Includes 1/3 rack ribs, 1/3lb pulled pork, 1/3lb brisket and 3x sides. It may seem pricey, but this is quality ʻcue.
Marc: NJ.com Top 32 BBQ: #25 - The pulled pork & brisket sandos are loaded & luscious, the former topped with a standout picante slaw, the latter with more traditional coleslaw. Ribs are pleasantly charred
Marc: NJ.com Top 32 BBQ: #20 - Excellent ribs, the pulled pork is the real deal, and the sides may be the heftiest of any bbq joint in the state. And fried chicken is the best I’ve had in a long while

Marc: NJ.com Top 32 BBQ: #23 - Ribs &brisket here are commendable, but winner is Southern slaw. As side or toss on pulled pork sando. Tangy &mustardy &irresistible. Sauces here rock: try NC Kick or SC Tang
Marc: NJ.com Top 32 BBQ: #26 - At Surf, don’t even think about not ordering the mac-n-cheese, which oozes creamy goodness. Ribs are cooked a bit too much, but pulled pork and brisket sandos are dynamite.
